The Cavallo Sport Boot has a 1000 Denier nylon upper that is tough and durable, and high performance specially-formulated thermo plastic urethane compound lower. Having used the Cavallo Sport Boot now on multiple horses I can say that it is one of the easiest to take on and off a horse. I have had great luck with this boot on horses that have more narrow hooves. The Sport Boot is ¼” Narrower than the Cavallo Simple Boot. Unlike the Cavallo Simple boot it is not recommended to use the drive in studs due to the low profile sole and tread. The Sport Boot is very light weight and performs well in the ring and over jumps. The Sport Boot has an even more simple attachment system. Also the boot has reflective material to help with safer riding in low light situations. The only major drawbacks I have seen are that Cavallo does not make half size. I have seen the Sport Boot used in ring work and also as a light weight trail boot. After use the boot simply needs to be hosed off and allowed to dry.
